Sophia was diagnosed with Germinoma tumor first after a scan in her brain in Waterford hospital.

She was then transferred to temple st. Dublin children hospital to further check out conforming the correct illness.

This big journey all started with Sophias vision slowly getting worse. First we all thought she just had poor vision and needed to get some glasses, when we got to the eye specialist.  They didn’t find anything wrong so suddenly we decided to go into wexford hospital for a checkout.  They couldn’t find anything strange so they said to be safe we got transferred to Waterford hospital.

Now we’re finally here after several hard, life changing months we’re nearly there. Now we need to travel to Eseen in Germany for 6 weeks of Proton Therapy
